I'm Vlad Marinescu, Director General of the International Judo Federation and a Former President of the International Esports Federation (IESF). I am working in international sports for over 15 years, I was born in Romania, and an American raised and studied in Budapest. I worked through each level of a sports organization, from athlete to event organizer in all departments, to management of sports organization and sports business. I was awarded the next 10 under 30 by Sports Business.

From 2013 - 2015 / SportAccord is the umbrella organizations for all International Sport Federations, Olympic and Non-Olympic. The duties of the Director General were the management the organizations administration as well as lead the building of strategy to implementation and expan- sion of the organization, activities and its projects.

Played Water polo during High school. Team Captain - Best Offensive Player ‘01 and Best Defensive Player ‘02) Titles: Junior Olympic Champions, Highest Scorer in League during Military School 2003.
From 1988 has been practicing Martial Arts Black belt. Titles: American Champion (7 times), Romanian Vice Champion, California Champion (multiple times) & West Coast America Champion (multiple times).
